The Bible Book of JUDE Prophetic

verses 1-25

The shortest book in the Bible - yet so so very powerful.

God promises that he will bring into judgement the ungodly.

I sometimes feel like the prophet Habakuk, complaining about why injustice and suffering is allowed to continue, as if I am a lone voice in the wilderness but I am so aware that there are billions who feel the same.

In this short book in the New Testament - Jude goes to war against gluttony, immorality, the demonic angels that forsook their place in heaven in order to engage in perverted sex with women, false teachers, slander etc etc.

When we look in most newspapers, there are consumed with immoral behaviour, people cheating on their spouses, violent acts which lead to serious injury and sometimes untimely deaths, political state sponsored propaganda, families at war, even among the higher echelons of society, deaths from Covid-19, stressed out workers, and a  general questioning as to where the world is going ....

As a heterosexual who is stands AGAINST all IMMORAL BEHAVIOUR - this includes a refusal to watch anything on Youtube without restricted mode, and who restricts herself to Christian films on Amazon or general films if they have a 12 Certificate, I refuse to watch anything with a hint of violence and shun any sports such as boxing, I may appear to be a bit of a PURITAN, I really am not - it is just that I have an abhorrence for all immorality and so desire to live in a world of morality, peace and harmony.

PSALM 34 speaks of God opening his hand and satisfying the desires of every living thing - of course these only include legitimate moral desires now and in the future. I find the sentiments of JEREMIAH 29:11 of hope and a bright future, thoughts and peace and not of calamity from God, Yahweh towards his servants comforting.

In light of the tragic event of the untimely death of a woman in heartbreaking circumstances - I find comfort knowing that one day God will hold such ones responsible to account and he will perform a resurrection reuniting ones with their loved ones in the future - ACTS 24:15.
