REJECT PAGAN FESTIVALS

What is Christmas? Christmas is a holiday or festival which is of pagan (non Christian origin).

How important is the origin of a festival to God?

ISAIAH is clear. Any festival which is of pagan origin and adopts pagan idols is condemned by Yahweh.

ISAIAH 44 declares the folly of a carpenter who goes to the forest, cuts down a tree, shapes the tree as an idol - a crucifix, a statute, a 'christmas' tree, a tree that becomes deified in December on a yearly basis. Verse 20, uses the adjective 'deluded' to describe those who practice idolatry.

In some cultures the tree, Christmas tree, during that period is worshipped, dressed in pretty baubles. tinsels, ribbons with presents underneath it. It adorns the living rooms of many homes and businesses, admired and boasted about. Every year individuals try and out do one another in terms of who can buy the biggest tree, decorate the tree in the most elaborate manner, but the biggest star on the top of the tree. To add insult to injury they give allegiance and bow down at the altar of Santa Claus, a mythical character that is imbued with a saintliness - heresy,

Each year Yeshua, the High Priest, Theocratic King and Archangel - Yahweh's son - is rejected as King and endowed with the attributes of a baby in a manger. What an insult to Yehsua. Imagine today, if we turned up to pay homage to a King and we started talking to the King in baby language, treated him as if the King was a babe in a manager, and ignored his spiritual maturity and natural maturity and his Kingship. Surely such offenders would be removed from the King's presence.

On an annual basis the so called Nativity plays - are full of inaccuracies - Yehusa's birth was greeted by delight by the humble shepherds. Months or perhaps or year or two afterward - Yeshua (the toddler under 2 years old) and his parents, Mary and Joseph, were privileged to have a visit from the Magi, or Eastern Astrologers (depending on your Bible translation). There is no mention as to the number of the Magi/Astrologers, it is speculation that there were 3 wise men, possibly because there were 3 gifts provided - Frankincense, Myrrh and Gold - MATTHEW 1-2.

The men were warned in a supernatural dream, not to return to King Herod as he had intended a hateful campaign of infanticide, which took place as soon as Herod recognised that the wise men had returned to their country without returning to him.

As Yeshua looks down lovingly from heaven at those worshipping him and those who are yet to worship him. he and the angels, must sigh heavily as he sees their IDOLATRY, their excesses of alcohol and glutton, licentious behaviour.. immoral office affairs etc.

What is God's view of festivals that have been created by men and not by him? ISAIAH 1:14. speaking of festivals that dishonour God, Yahweh is clear, He detests such festivals, therefore He must also detest it if His followers participate in such festivals.

Quit touching the unclean thing and I will take you in - 2 CORINTHIANS 6:17.

Flee from idolatry - EXODUS 20:4, ISAIAH 42:17, ISAIAH 46:12, 1 CORINTHIANS 10:14

Such worship is futile.
